Sleeping Bubbles Luxury Private Escapes is tucked away in the largest desert in the United States of America, the Chihuahuan Desert. Located in the Big Bend Ranch area, you’ll find Terlingua, Texas. We’re not hard get to just follow interstate I10 W from east Texas or I10 East from West Texas then head south toward the border on I118! Terlingua is a beautiful remote area that can be accessed from four major cities! Houston: 9.5-hour drive or a 1-hour flight (HOU to MAF) + 4-hour drive. San Antonio: Just under a 7-hour drive; Austin: 7.5-hour drive; El Paso: 4.5-hour drive.

Big Bend National Park and Big Bend State Park. Terlingua, is known for many things, one of which is its international dark skies, and deep astronomy. At over 9 million acres, the Greater Big Bend International Dark Sky Reserve is currently the world’s largest Reserve and protected Dark Sky Place. The Reserve spans from Fort Davis, Texas to the Rio Grande River at the US/Mexico border and includes three protected areas in Mexico – making it the world’s first bi-national Dark Sky Reserve. Big Bend National Park provides some of the best night skies for stargazing in the south. On a clear night, over 2000 stars can be seen with the naked eye. Texas has beautiful sunny weather to enjoy nearly year-round, jaw dropping picturesque views, a wildlife montage of all sorts of plants and animals, arguably some of the best foods, culture, and people to experience!

Is Sleeping Bubbles Luxury Private Escapes pet friendly?
Unfortunately, no. Most of the nature trails do not allow pets due to the natural wildlife, it’s for their safety.
Do you have a guarantee on the reservation? How long is it good for?
Yes! The reservation will be good for life for the buyer, for that length of stay! The reservation will not expire, but you must book through the website to redeem your stay.

How many guests can stay per Sleeping Bubble?
2-6 people. Each Lunar Sleeping Bubble sleeps two adults on a king size bed. Our Galactic Sleeping Bubbles will have two rooms, one room that sleeps 2 adults, and a separate room that can sleep up to 4 people. Our main room in the Galactic Sleeping Bubble will have a king size bed and the second room will have bunk beds available to accommodate guests.
